Allan relocated to Perdido Key in 1982 from Savannah, Georgia to join the sales team at Gulf Shores Plantation in Gulf Shores, AL, but chose to reside in Perdido Key, FL. In 1994, he purchased Perdido Realty. His vision realized; Perdido Realty is the premier Real Estate Firm on Perdido Key.

Allan is a multi-tour Vietnam Veteran and a life member of the Special Operations Association. He enjoys the comradery associated with living in the Perdido Key area, a popular retirement destination for the military and close to the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
